About Me

Elizabeth Broom

Registered Clinical Psychologist
(Registration No. 1128)

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My work is guided by an individualised and collaborative approach, with an emphasis on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space.

  • Professional Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the European University Cyprus.

  • Clinical Training

My clinical training comprised 1,800 hours of supervised clinical practice across a range of mental health settings, including the Cyprus Red Cross Children’s Therapeutic Centre “Stella Soulioti”, as well as within the Psychiatric Clinic and Liaison Mental Health Service at Limassol General Hospital.

  • Experience

Throughout my clinical training and practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults, providing psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and psychological assessment. My experience includes supporting individuals presenting with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, mood disorders, difficulties with emotional regulation, as well as more complex and severe mental health conditions.

  • My Practice

I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as parenting consultation, both in person and online, in Greek and English.

  • My Approach

My therapeutic approach is individualised and collaborative, guided by the unique needs, experiences, and goals of each client. I place particular emphasis on establishing a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, acceptance, respect, and collaboration, providing a supportive space in which clients can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and explore the experiences and difficulties that bring them to therapy at a pace that feels right for them.
